Of gay. We had a gay brother in our lodge. Homosexuals have been involved in Freemasonry for decades and almost certainly covertly for centuries when it was illegal to be so. I know of several gay men, one in my lodge, and others elsewhere, and more than welcome.

A man's sexuality is no bar to joining a Lodge in the UK and hasn't been since when "sodomy between consenting adults" was decriminalised.

A few years ago I worked with an openly gay Freemason who joined his Lodge insadly he has now retired away from London with his husband. Freemasonry, especially my Lodge, has continued to support me in all of my endeavours, whether that is related to my sexuality or otherwise.
